Short Description:

BH2 Green Initiative Acrylic Latex Gap filler Sealant is an excellent quality, all purpose caulk for sealing a wide variety of interior and exterior surfaces. It contains silicone additives for greater flexibility and adhesion and shrinks less for a durable, waterproof seal. BH2 is paintable with latex or oil-based paints, saving time. It won’t shine through or discolor the paint for superior paint finish results. It is easy to apply and tool, low in odor and cleans up easily with water. Cured caulk is mold and mildew resistant.

Main purposes

1. Mainly for sealing the gaps or joints interior and exterior, such as doors and window frames, walls, window sills, prefab elements, stairs, skirting, corrugated roof sheets, chimneys, conduit-pipes and roof gutters;
2. Can be used on most construction materials, such as brick, concrete, plasterwork, asbestos cement, wood, glass, ceramic tiles, metals, aluminum, zinc and so on.;
3. Acrylic sealant for windows and doors.

Characteristics

1. All purpose – strong multi-surface adhesion;
2. Low odor;
3. Resists cracking and chalking and cured caulk is mold & mildew resistant.

Limitations

1. Apply in temperatures above 4℃；
2. Do not apply when rain or freezing temperatures are forecasted within 24 hours. Cooler temperatures and higher humidity will slow down dry time；
3. Not for continuous underwater use, filling butt joints, surface defects, tuck-pointing or expansion joints；
4. Store caulk away from extreme heat or cold.

Shelf life: Acrylic Sealant is sensitive to frost and must be kept in tightly closed packing in a frost-proof place. The shelf life is about 12 months when stored in a cool and dry place.
